為了提升醫(yī)務(wù)人員在英語環(huán)境下的實際應(yīng)用水平,，我院與三峽大學(xué)外國語學(xué)院聯(lián)合舉辦的英語能力提升培訓(xùn)班于9月份開展了英語角活動?；顒忧半p方單位進(jìn)行了周密安排,，制定了詳細(xì)的活動方案和豐富的活動內(nèi)容。雙方單位的分管領(lǐng)導(dǎo)均參加了本次活動,，并在活動前提出了活動要求,，培訓(xùn)班全體學(xué)員分兩組，各組由一名外籍教師帶領(lǐng)開展活動,。
健康主題討論
本次英語角活動主要有以下內(nèi)容：外籍教師和學(xué)員分別用英文做自我介紹,；以BBC紀(jì)錄片《關(guān)于肥胖的真相》為切入點(diǎn)，圍繞如何保持健康的話題,，進(jìn)行討論分析,；進(jìn)行聽讀訓(xùn)練，鼓勵學(xué)員大聲朗讀英語文章,；練習(xí)英語繞口令,，糾正學(xué)員發(fā)音；真心話大冒險活動,，推進(jìn)師生互動交流,。本次活動結(jié)束后還根據(jù)學(xué)員的口語能力、活動參與能力,，評選出了六名最佳學(xué)員,，他們分別是：王曉東、朱峻峰,、曹巍,、歐陽明、劉艷,、丁茜,。
真心話大冒險
通過本次活動，學(xué)員們充分認(rèn)識到了英語口語在社交、工作,、生活中的重要性,，為今后開展海外學(xué)術(shù)交流與進(jìn)修奠定了一定的語言基礎(chǔ)。學(xué)員們表示,，今后將進(jìn)一步加強(qiáng)聽力和口語訓(xùn)練,，積累單詞量，提高英語表達(dá)能力和應(yīng)用水平,，以適應(yīng)我院未來國際化發(fā)展的需要,。
六名學(xué)員榮獲最佳學(xué)員獎
English corner activity to improve the level of English application
Recently, the staff of Yichang City Maternal and Child Health Care Hospital in the Three Gorges University language teaching experimental center carried out a unique English Corner activity.
In order to improve the practical application of the staff , an English corner activity was held in September, which was jointly held by the hospital and the Foreign Languages College of Three Gorges University. Before the event, both sides made a careful arrangement, developed a detailed programme and rich content of the activity. The leaders in charge of both units participated in the activity and put forward the requirements before the activity. All the people were divided into two groups, and each group was led by a foreign teacher. This English Corner activity mainly includes the following contents: foreign teachers and students introduce themselves in English, taking the BBC documentary The Truth about Obesity as the starting point, discussing and analyzing the topic of how to keep healthy, conducting listening and reading training, encouraging them to read English articles aloud, practice English tongue twisters to correct students' pronunciation，promote interactive communication between teachers and students. Six best students were selected according to their oral ability and their ability to participate in the activity. They are Wang Xiaodong, Zhu Junfeng, Cao Wei, Ouyang Ming, Liu Yan and Ding Qian.
Through this activity, the students fully realized the importance of oral English in social communication, work and in daily life, which laid a certain language foundation for overseas academic communication and further study in the future. The students indicated that they would further strengthen their listening and oral training, accumulate the vocabulary, and improve their ability of English expression and application, so as to meet the needs of the international development of our hospital in the future.
